The advanced official French diploma for C1–C2 — the step above DELF.

DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) is the advanced tier of France's official certification, covering C1 and C2. Like DELF it is issued by the French Ministry of Education and is valid for life.

DALF signals near-native command, useful for French-taught higher study, academic careers and international roles. Most learners reach it after clearing DELF B2.
