French — Exams & Pathways

TCF Canada

An alternative French exam accepted for Canadian immigration and Quebec pathways.

TCF Canada (Test de connaissance du français) is a second French exam recognised by Canadian immigration, used for Express Entry and Quebec programmes. Like TEF Canada, results map to NCLC/CLB levels that feed your points.

TEF or TCF — pick by date availability and which format suits you; the French you build is the same. For Quebec's PSTQ you will typically need a solid B2.

What level / visa it maps to

NCLC 7 (≈ B2) for Express Entry; B2 for Quebec PSTQ.

We'll be straight with you about the level and timeline your goal actually needs — then get you there.
