German — Visa & Migration

Fachsprachprüfung (FSP)

A profession-specific German exam — most often the medical-language test doctors need for Approbation.

The Fachsprachprüfung (FSP) tests German in a professional context, most commonly medicine: doctor-patient conversations, case presentations and medical documentation. It sits on top of general B2 German and is required for medical Approbation.

General B2 is not enough on its own here — the FSP needs the specialised vocabulary and communication of the profession. We point doctors to the right specialised preparation once their general German is solid.

What level / visa it maps to

Built on B2 general German; adds profession-specific (usually medical) language.

We'll be straight with you about the level and timeline your goal actually needs — then get you there.
