German — Visa & Migration

Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte)

Germany's points-based job-seeker visa — live in Germany for up to a year to find work, with no prior job offer.

The Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte), launched in 2024, lets qualified non-EU professionals move to Germany for up to a year to look for a job, without needing an offer first. Eligibility is points-based: qualifications, work experience, age and language all add up to a threshold.

Language is where it pays off: B1 German earns meaningful points (B2 earns more), and you can qualify on A1 German or B2 English. We will map your points honestly and get you the German level that actually moves the needle — not sell you a guaranteed job, which no honest institute can.

What level / visa it maps to

Minimum A1 German or B2 English; B1–B2 German adds points and employability. Points threshold required.

We'll be straight with you about the level and timeline your goal actually needs — then get you there.
