Level B2 – German Language – Advanced German

Course description: 

This course enables students to enhance and acquire deeper knowledge of the language. The course is designed in a way that it focuses equally on all four modules. That is reading, writing, listening and speaking.

This is the level where lots of self learning techniques are introduced, exchanged and invented both by teachers and students.

It takes around 120 hours to complete this course.

100 hours for overall level training

20 hours for exam preparation and practice

Course Goal: 

This course aims to improve all four modules and gives an answer to most of your “Why”. The course is designed in a way that it gives students confidence to communicate with other German experts and native.

One becomes competent to speak and express oneself in a variety of different settings, such as social, professional, academic and personal.

Reading 

  • Understanding long and complex informative, factual and literary Texts.
  • Techniques to work with such long text in a shorter time by using fast reading and flow chart making as a technique.

Writing 

  • Writing about complex subjects in both difficult and easy language
  • Being able to create one’s own texts in the form of a report, a letter, a mail, a blog or an essay.
  • Innovation and creation. Because of the intensity of the course one widens the horizon and is able to not just write for exams
  • Express oneself in clear, well structured and in accordance to the level

Speaking 

  • Use language effectively for both social and professional purposes
  • Quickness in the thought process as a result of overall training and discussion while training
  • Present detailed description of complex subjects in a structured manner, with all sub-topics, pros and cons, conclusion and summary
  • Express oneself fluently and spontaneously without much searching of expressions and hesitation

Listening 

  • By end of this level, one becomes competent to understand and enjoying the online entertainment content, such as programs, videos, podcasts, movies and shows
