French Level A2 Course for DELF A2

A2 is your next level to become a Frenchy! In the course, you would upgrade yourself to be able to effectively communicate about a much wider range of topics, construct and comprehend complex sentence structures with an expanded vocabulary, express yourself with fun French expressions; and last but not the least, understand more French memes.

Recommended number of hours:

  • It takes around 75 hours to complete this course.
  • 65 hours for overall level training. 
  • 10 hours for exam preparation and practice.

Learning objectives:

Reading: 

  1. Understanding descriptive texts with vocabulary used in day to day life.
  2. Understanding informative texts about topics like environment, technology, work, healthcare, sciences and so on.
  3. Comprehending simple newspaper and magazine articles about basic topics. 

Writing: 

  1. Writing small texts about day to day life topics and other universal topics of discussion like environment, technology, professional world, healthcare.
  2. Being able to write easy formal and informal mails and letters of invitation, application and complaint.
  3. Writing texts to describe events, places and lifestyle.

Speaking:

  1. Expressing your opinion in a coherent manner with justification.
  2. Being able to use typical French expressions in daily conversations.
  3. Learning to discuss subject matters like environment, education, work, sciences, healthcare, technology.

Listening:

  1. Comprehending day to day conversations, and simultaneously note down the tiny details. 
  2. Inculcating the ability to decipher time, dates, places, directions effectively.
  3. Habituating oneself to standard French spoken at a standard speed.

 Course Assessment: 

Students’ progress will be assessed on a weekly basis with feedback given in the class. Group discussions and regular assignments is the major source of assessment.
