A Quick Tour through German Level A1
đ€ I can now declare that I am ready to start the 2nd step of German language.
I can say this because, I know the alphabet, the numbers, days of the week and months and I know a couple of verbs and nouns. The all time saver âInternetâ helped me get through the first level. I think Iâm ready for the second one already. đ\
Basics of German

Wait, what?????
You think the entire first level of German language consists of this????
That wonât even last a week and moreover Itâs not that the first level is indeed an introduction to the language but this is not even 1/10th of it. Thereâs a lot more.
Really ?????
What exactly is it then?
so to say so, we shall consider this a long and fun ride. Thereâll be various stops, attractions and breaks. Los geht’s !
so the first most important thing!! The greetings
âHallo!!! Guten Tagâ is the best opener. It lets you enter the whole vibe and get to know others and introduce yourself!!
The second step, Now that you know the others, itâs time to make plans, do some fun activities and speak about your likes and dislikes!
âGehen wir ins Restaurant?â đźđ
‘Ja gern’ and boom! Now youâre all set to go to a restaurant.
âIch höre gern Musik, Ich auch!â And now you both can vibe on your favourite music. đ¶đ€
Letâs go further, but to where??? Do we go right, left or straight? đ€Ż Do we take a Bus, a Train or a tram?? Here you are introduced to one of the grueling beauty of this language. The articles, these are those devils that donât leave your back throughout your journey.
Letâs go to various places in a city and get to know it.
Pufffff! I’m tired and hungry. Letâs go to a cafĂ© and eat. ‘Ich möchte gern ein Kaffee und Pommes Frites’ in German Language is all that you need to get a coffee and some fries. Should the Article before the noun be ein or einen????đ€ In this CASE einen. The fun ride also has some intense roads and turns in our case, the grammar. You learn here about a case called âAkkusativ.â
Can we meet again tomorrow and explore???? It seems interesting.
I must check my calendar. Do we want to meet on Sunday? đ
We can, want and must meet on Sunday.
đđ€. At what time?
Am Sonntag um 6 Uhr. I have a Skype call at 4 Uhr with a German Freundin. đ± She is planning a trip to India. đźđł
Your friend? My friend? His friend? Her friend? Or our friend? đđ
You must wait to find that out.
Letâs plan a weekend and invite all our friends before you join your new job next week. We can do many fun activities together like dancing, grilling, cycling, hiking and later we can go to a pub, beer Garden, vineyard and coffeehouse. This chapter brings you a special Gift. A new type of verb, the verbs in German Language are more like cocktails. This one wonât let you stick together. They are called separable verbs. (Trennbare Verben)
1st day at work.
A flood of new things, people, tasks and stuff. New paths to lead!! Great companions, very freundlich and nett. We have a plan after work to go to a pizzeria with all other colleagues, which happens to be near the BĂŒro. đ Whatâs nicer is another intense road called the Dativ. By now you have pretty much learnt the core of German Language grammar. The three cases. You are all set to differentiate between them.
New city, new place, new house and apartment search and setting up a house calls out to a lot of vocabulary. Should I keep the cupboard in the bedroom or the Passage? The Tv stands in the living room, on the table or at the wall for sure, conventional or non-conventional, where or to where it unlocks itself here in this chapter. Finally done with the setting up, now itâs time for a housewarming party.
By now, you have pretty much learnt to live in the present TENSE. It’s time to talk about whatâs done, yesterday, last week, last month, last year or last life. Where have you lived before, worked before, which job did you do? And of course answering it.
Worked for a long time??? Now itâs time to spend. Itâs time for shopping!!!!
You really canât get enough of it, shopping online, in a mall, at a market or at a boutique everything is super fun. I should buy a rock for my sister, if I canât throw one at her. By the way, rock is a skirt.
We have covered almost every grammar and not lying to you all but since itâs a new language itâs a little too much. Enough to give you a Kopfschmerzen. đ€ Here you will find all basic words and vocabulary related to body, health and hospital. đ€đ€§đ
Last but not the least, vacationing. đïžđ Various travel destinations, understanding and writing postcards and travel blogs in German Language is this chapterâs gift to you all. đ
This is how this beautiful trip unfolds itself, so You will not like it completely but definitely it’s worth a try.
